  • “susan” : This was my first time ever making a brisket! Recently on a business trip I tried brisket in Huntsville, Texas and I fell in love with it!!! I cooked in the slow cooker for about 6 hrs. This thing was so tender I couldn’t even slice it!! I used a rib rub for the seasoning and OMG!!! This will be my go to brisket recipe forever!! This one is definitely a MUST TRY!!!
  • “crystale” : Excellent! So easy.  I cut the recipe in half and reduced cooking time (check meat temp to determine).  Made no other changes.  This recipe has just the right amount of kick.  Served with baked beans.  A keeper!
  • “melanie” : This was very good.  I had a point cut and it did take a long long time to cook, but very flavorful.
  • “amanda” : Amazing – great flavor and so easy – I don’t like ketchup so I substituted barbecue sauce for the ketchup. Would be great for large gathering.
