  • 1teaspoon celery salt
  • 1teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • 1/2teaspoon pepper
  • 4to 5 lb fresh beef brisket (not corned beef)
  • 1 1/2cups ketchup
  • 1/4cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4cup finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4cup low-sodium beef, chicken or vegetable broth or water
