Japanese Clear Onion Soup Recipe

A while go we attended a birthday celebration at a Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse. It was my first time at one and I completely fell in love with a simple clear onion broth we were served as a starter. The name is Japanese Clear Onion soup!
I couldn’t believe how tasty that little bowl of brown broth was (haha)!
As with everything we eat, if we love it, we immediately know that we will eventually do our own recreation of it. This was no different.
After some research, planning, cooking and taste-testing, we finally perfected our very own Japanese Clear Onion Soup recipe.

Keto Beef Stroganoff Soup

It was my dad’s 65th birthday last week and I decided to share a recipe that he loves. As the name suggests, it’s adapted from a traditional Russian stew that is commonly served with pasta that can easily be replaced with zucchini noodles – you can add some if you like. It’s meant to be eaten as a main dish. If you plan to have it as a starter, use half a serving.

Comforting, creamy, cheesy soup to cheer you up and warm you up. Made with cauliflower, ham, and white cheddar cheese, this soup is filling but light.
I am so tired of the yo-yo weather! It’s two days of cold, four days of hot, two days of freezing, four days of hot. My air conditioner tells me to make up my mind already and the plants are going crazy. It’s the second year in the row where temperatures are that crazy.
I mean, we never get an early winter here, in FL, but we at least get steady cooler temperature by Christmas. This hot/cold weather tantrum is really messing with my head and health.
‘Tis surely is the season… for colds. Between most of the country dealing with snow storms and this crazy weather pattern in FL, it’s officially time for some cozy hot cocoa and soup. Half the family has been having colds non-stop for weeks and I was really hoping that I could avoid it but it found me, and it found me hard. All I want is some hot tea and soup.
Although, to be honest, what I really want is some ooey-gooey macaroni and cheese but I can’t have that because gluten-free pasta is just not the same and I don’t like it. But, you know what?
This creamy, cheesy soup has been satisfying my craving beautifully. I love the great flavors that come together in this simple soup and I love that it’s hearty enough without having any pasta or potatoes packed in it. It’s just what the doctor ordered!

Just like mom’s cozy chicken noodle soup but made with zucchini noodles instead! So comforting AND healthy! 227.3 calories.
I think we’re having the coldest winter of all. And when I say coldest winter, I mean 40 degree F weather. No joke.
Californians are serious wimps in the cold considering we wear flip flops 350 days out of the year.
But this chicken soup is everything. Seriously, it. is. everything.
You have all your veggies in one pot, simmering away in all of it’s glory, swapping out traditional noodles for spiralized zucchini noodles (AKA zoodles), and then adding in a squeeze of lemon juice for that hint of refreshing goodness.
